Tea Buds Collector Series Yixing Teapots
Our Collector Series Yixing teapots are distinguished by a combination of attributes that makes them likely to retain value, or increase in value over time. As is the case in most of the art world, market value follows demand, which follows recognition of an artist's talent. At Tea Buds, we have been following the work of Yixing Master Craftsmen and their known Assistants for more than 10 years. In that time, the master crafted works we originally selected as "collectible" have increased greatly in value. The pieces we currently offer are mostly the work of unknown or emerging artists, with a few from known Masters and Assistants. In the future, we plan to add a Master Series for the works of well-known Craft Masters.
