Lion Monument Teapot

The look of this pot is no deception.  It is a very solid piece of work; heavy and vault-like.  The lines are all angular, projecting the strength and dominance of the King of Beasts main character.  The base reminds us of a monument, while the Lion seems relaxed, confident and secure atop the lid.  This is the only Yixing teapot we have seen that combines an angular geometric design and an animal theme.  BTW, you can confidently pour two 6 oz. cups of perfectly brewed tea from this pot, thanks to excellent Yixing brewing properties.
