Premium grade Rooibos, or Red Bush tea, from South Africa is a caffeine-free, antioxidant-rich delight. Our Almond Rooibos is definitely a crowd favorite. We prepare it with a good, long steep time, and a moderate amount of raw turbinado sugar – It is like a decadent amaretto dessert, and everyone we have shared it with loves it that way. Of course, if you have an alternate sweetener preference, we are sure it would still be wonderful. How perfect is it, that something so delicious is also amazingly healthy?

Tasting Notes: Bright, sweet Rooibos and amaretto-like natural almond flavors are combined perfectly in this healthy tea blend. A bit of turbinado, or light brown sugar, transforms it into a decadent dessert in a cup, like liquefied amaretto cookies.
Origin: South Africa
How to prepare it: We prefer a concentrated brew, at 1 rounded tsp. per cup, steeped at 212 degrees for at least 5 minutes. Add just enough raw or light brown sugar to give it a caramel quality, but not cloyingly sweet. Enjoy!
