Sun in the Clouds, Master Crafted Teapot

This Master Crafted pot by Mr. Ling Xi Xun is a fine example of Yixing pottery by a top tier artist.  It combines a visually appealing design, uncluttered and understated elegance in the carving and caligraphy, and artfully combines all three types of famous zisha clay.  The cloud element is incorporated into the handle, lid and spout, while the body of the pot represents the sun.  It features a nicely carved orchid on one side, and beautiful caligraphy on the other. This would make an excellent centerpiece for any collection, or stand on its own with great distinction.
