Classic, highly prized tea from Yunnan Province, China. Yunnan Province produces some of the world's best loose leaf tea, and this is certainly one of them. It is hand-processed to produce the signature snail shape, and has beautiful color, with gold tips and red to dark oxidized leaves. Ours is a top-quality version of this wonderfully complex tea.
Details
Tasting Notes: Aroma is honey sweet and spicy. Flavor is fruity, but savory, with spice notes that include nutmeg and cinnamon. It has a lot of depth, and the flavors layer and combine very nicely through the finish.
Origin: Yunnan Province, China
How to prepare it: Steep about 1 teaspoon per cup at 212 degrees, for 3-5 minutes.
